On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, The Governor of Makkah Region washed today the Holy Ka'aba as it is customary every year. Upon his arrival to the entrance of the Holy Mosque of Makkah, he was greeted by The President of the Affairs of the Holy Mosque of Makkah and Prophet Mosque in Madinah Sheikh Salih Al-Husayen and his Deputy for the Affairs of the Holy Mosque of Makkah Dr. Mohammed Nasir Al-Khuzayem and a number of officials. After Performing Tawaf (cirumbulation) and Two Raka'ah of Tawaf, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal ascended the stairs of the Ka'aba to wash the Holy Ka'aba with Zamzam water mixed with Rose Water prepared earlier by the Presidency of the affairs of the Holy Mosque of Makkah and the Prophet Mosque in Madinah. The washing ceremony was participated by a number of senior officials and members of Islamic diplomatic corps.
