The decline in German unemployment slowed this month, data released Thursday showed, as employers curbed hiring in the face of growing economic uncertainty, reported the DPA. The numbers of out of work in Europe's biggest economy fell by a seasonally adjusted 20,000 to 3.25 million in July, Germany's Labour Office said. The drop in July was in line with analysts' forecasts. However, it comes after unemployment in June fell by 38,000 to a 16-year-low of 3.27 million. The July seasonally adjusted unemployment rate, which analysts see as pointing to underlying labour market trends, remained at 7.8 per cent.
