Germany's unemployment edged up to 11.5 per cent in July, dpa quoted the nation's labour agency as saying Thursday. The Nuremberg-based labour agency said the numbers out of work in seasonally unadjusted terms in Europe's biggest economy increased by 68,000 this month pushing up the total number of unemployed to 4.77 million. Unemployment stood at 11.3 per cent in June. Analysts said the expected rise in the July adjusted jobless rate was less than in previous years. As a result, they expect the more market sensitive seasonally adjusted figure, which points to underlining labour market trends to fall during July. --SP 1115 Local Time 0815 GMT
