Low-cost carrier Air India Express will launch new services between four Indian cities and Dubai before September this year, Press Trust of India reported. The low cost carrier will add flights to Goa and Ahmedabad three times a week and re-establish services to Pune, said AIE chief operating officer PP Singh. Flights to Pune were suspended in September last year as the airport expanded the runway to accommodate the new generation Boeing 737-800 plane the airlines uses. From mid-August, the budget carrier will also take over the Thiruvananthapuram-Dubai flights from Air India. Singh said apart from Goa, Air India Express will start operations on Dubai-Pune and Dubai-Ahmedabad sectors also.
