Kurdish rebels have released German climbers

Turkey's Foreign Ministry says three
German climbers who were abducted more than a week ago by
Kurdish rebels have been released and are in good
condition.
The ministry says Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan
called German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier
Sunday morning to say that «the German climbers were in
the hands of Turkish officials and their health condition
was good. »
The three Germans were seized at Mount Ararat in eastern
Turkey on July 8, reportedly to protest German pressure on
Kurdish rebels' supporters in Germany, the Associated Press reported.
