US dollar mostly lower in European morning trading, gold falls

The U.S. dollar was mostly lower against
other major currencies in European trading Friday morning.
Gold fell.
The euro traded at US$1.5868, up from US$1.5810 late
Thursday in New York.

_1.0192 Swiss francs, down from 1.0231
_1.0051 Canadian dollars, down from 1.0068
The British pound was quoted at US$1.9971, down from
US$1.9992.
Gold traded in London at US$961.50 per troy ounce, down
from US$965.50 late Thursday.
