Arab Minister of Water begin meeting

The meeting of Arab Ministers concerned with water in the Arab world began here at the Arab League headquarters today under the chairmanship of the Syrian Irrigation Minister Nader Al-Buni.
The meeting discussed the Arab preparations for the 5th Global Forum of Water which will be held in Istanbul in March 2009 and the establishing of the Arab Ministers Council for Water to coordinate opinions and positions of Arab water on the Arab arena.
The Saudi delegation was led by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity and Water for Water Affairs, Dr Ali bin Saad Al-Tokhais.
