Undersecretary of the Ministry of Water and Electricity for Water Affairs Dr. Ali bin Saad Al-Tokhais stressed Saudi Arabia's willingness to cooperation with any country in the world in the field of water desalination. During a meeting with a number of Spanish media at the headquarters of the Saudi pavilion participating in the international water exhibition, Expo Zaragoza 2008: Water and Sustainable Development, in the Spanish city of Zaragoza today, he said Saudi Arabia has 30 water desalination plants producing more than three million cubic meters per day. Dr. Al-Tokhais highlighted Saudi efforts in the field of water conservation and underlined the importance of this issue.
