Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki lauded the support and patronage extended by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the World Conference on Dialogue scheduled for Madrid on Wednesday. In a press statement, Al-Turki said the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques enjoys considerable support of the Islamic community because it represents the overwhelming trend among Ulema, thinkers and intellectuals of the Islamic nation as was discussed at Makkah conference. He added that the great support by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the conference has dramatically contributed to the positive response to the invitation extended to them by the MWL secretariat general, noting that the number of participants in the conference amounted to more than 170, mainly representing themselves rather than any organization, political trend, particular country, community, sect or so. Al-Turki said they are all distinguished personalities who were interested in the issue of dialogue and are keen that the future of humanity should be maintained. --More
