Prince Abdulaziz bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Madinah region, said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia contains large quantities of antiquates notably the antiquities of Mada'en Salih in al-Ola province. In statement to SPA, he said Madinah region contains important historical sites, and these historical sites were approved in the list of the international heritage at a meeting recently held by the UNESCO in Canada. Prince Abdulaziz lauded the great attention given to the historical sites by the Saudi officials.
