Unidentified criminals riding in a car at 01:00, Moscow time opened fire from grenade launchers and firearms in the Ordzhonikidzevskaya settlement on police officers that were guarding a house in Engels Street where head of the Sunzha district police department Bagaudin Chaniyev lives. The attackers disappeared from the scene. An investigation team has been working at the site, measures have been taken to identify and track down the criminals.
