Four bombs exploded early Sunday in the tense border area between Georgia and the separatist province of Abkhazia, officials said. No injuries were reported. The blasts went off near the Inguri river, which divides Georgia and Abkhazia, Interior Ministry spokesman Shota Utiashvili said. Lt. Col. Alexander Novitsky, a spokesman for the Russian peacekeeping forces in Abkhazia, was quoted by the ITAR-Tass news agency as blaming the blast on Georgian agents.
