Tropical Storm Douglas weakened to a depression off Mexico's coast on Thursday and was forecast to die at sea, AP reported. After forming in the Pacific on Wednesday, Douglas was located about 155 miles (250 kilometers) south-southwest of Cabo San Lucas, on the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Douglas had winds of about 30 mph (45 kph), according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center. The storm was moving west-northwest at 9 mph (14 kph), away from land, and was expected to turn west and die out at sea by Friday after hitting cooler waters, forecasters said.
