Under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Angari opened here today the International Conference on Nano Technology under the title 'Opportunities & Challenges' organized by King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. The Director of Nano Technology Center at King Abdulaziz University Dr. Sami Habib delivered a speech in which he hailed the care given by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Nano technology, adding that the Kingdom is witnessing the starting off a technology that will contribute to forming future industry and development in the Kingdom. Following that, Dr. Ahmed Qar delivered a speech on behalf of the speakers at the conference in which he commended the idea of this conference, wishing that the conference will yield positive results. The Rector of King Saud University Dr. Osama Sadiq Tayyb delivered a speech in which he pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is concentrating on science and knowledge in order to reach the knowledge society. Therefore, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince are keen on supporting science, education, scientific research and advanced techniques. --More
