Al-Naimi meets British Energy Secretary

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Ali Ibrahim Al-Naimi met here today with British Energy Secretary Malcolm Wicks.
They reviewed the current situation in the international oil market and the Kingdom's as regards the stability of the market.
They also discussed energy issues and the importance of cooperation between the two countries in extracting clean energy from petroleum and gas.
Meanwhile, the two ministers reviewed the energy policies of the European countries and the Group-8 countries as well as bilateral cooperation in the field of petroleum industries.
The meeting was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Petroleum Affairs, and a number of senior officials.
