Tens of Saudis rushed today to the Saudi school in Algiers to donate with their blood on the occasion of the International Day for Blood Donation and in solidarity with their Algerian brethren and patients admitted at hospitals. Saudi ambassador to Algeria Dr Sami Al-Salih supervised the Blood Donation Campaign. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Saudi ambassador said the blood donation campaign stands as a witness for the existing fraternal relations between the Kingdom and Algeria. He noted that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Algerian President Abdulaziz Boutaflika are keen on further cementing bilateral relations in a manner that serves mutual interests.
