Saudi Ambassador to Algeria Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Salih pointed out that the Kingdom's participation in the functions of Talamasan as the Capital of Islamic Culture 2011 comes in affirming its Islamic committement, appreciation for relations with Algeria, backing Islamic efforts and effective cultural action in addition to consolidation of relations with Muslim and Arab nations. Following a meeting with the Saudi delegation taking part in the functions, Ambassador Al-Saleh reiterated, in a press statement to SPA at the sidelines of the functions, the importance of permanent participation of the Kingdom in such occasions. Highlighting the Saudi pavilion contents in the occasion, the ambassador said it contains an exhibition on the expansion of the two holy mosques over the Islamic history and the palm tree and types of dates as well as a symposium on the current situation and potentials of the Saudi Algerian relations. -- SPA
