Meetings of Yemeni-European Joint committee to be held

Meetings of Yemeni-European Joint Committee (YEJC) are to be held on Tuesday in Sana'a and co-chaired by Yemeni Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs, Minister of Planning and International cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi and European side by mission of European Commission and representatives of European donor countries and organizations working in Yemen, according to Saba.
Yemeni Director General of International Cooperation and head of Trade Coordination Unit in Ministry of Planning and international Cooperation Nabil Shaiban said to Saba that the meetings would discuss means of boosting Yemeni-European cooperation to provide implementation process of European regional resolution plan for Yemen for 2007-2011.
The meetings will also determine further trends for EU support for Yemen, he added.
It is worth mentioning that European Commission announced last year to rise its annual support for developmental projects in Yemen to €81 million.
