Saudi Ambassador to India Salih Mohammed Al-Ghamdi met here today Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the end of his diplomatic assignment in India. During the meeting, the Indian Prime Minister praised the major advances made in relations between the two friendly countries. He also stressed the importance of continued efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and build strong partnership between India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all fields. Manmohan Singh also expressed his happiness over high level accomplished in relations between the two countries, especially after the historic visit to India by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz in 2006. Earlier today, the out-going Saudi Ambassador visited Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs Pranab Mukherjee who reiterated the strong relations between the two countries in all cooperation spheres.
