Director of the Encyclopedia of the Arab and Muslim notables at the Arab League Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ALESCO) Mohammed Salih Al-Jaberi, has highlighted the pioneering role being played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in the Arab and Muslim world. He lauded the patronage of King Abdullah for the international Islamic dialogue conference, due to be held in Makkah tomorrow. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he underscored the importance of dialogue for resolving problems facing the mankind as well as projecting the role of Islam in unifying ranks and spreading the values of tolerance and friendship.
