The joint Saudi-Yemeni Military Committee ended its deliberations here today under co-chairmanship of General Salih Al-Mohayya, the Saudi Chief of the General Staff and his Yemeni counterpart Major-General Ahmad Ali Salih Al-Ashwal. Speaking on the occasion, Gen. Al-Mohayya underscored the importance of coordination between the Saudi and Yemeni frontiers' guards, reiterating the strength of the Saudi-Yemeni relations. On his part, Major-General Al-Ashwal expressed happiness over the success of the meeting. At the end of the meeting, Gen. Al-Mohayya said in a statement to SPA that the borders agreement signed by the Kingdom and Yemen has settled all matters, and 'we have discussed some details pertaining to coordination between the concerned parties'. He noted that special sessions for honoring the committees which participated in the demarcation of the borders will be fixed by the political leaderships soon. Meanwhile, Gen. Al-Mohayya left Yemen today. He was seen off at Sanaa International Airport by a number of high-ranking officials.
