The Executive Bureau of the Arab Justice Ministers Council today reiterated its condemnation of terrorism in all its kinds and forms and underscored the need to address its roots and causes and urged for no confusion between terrorism and Islam, which calls for tolerance, rejects extremism and terrorism and distinguishes between terrorism and legitimate right of peoples to fight occupation and aggression taking into account that the killing of innocent civilians is not approved by divine religions or international conventions. Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, the Minister of Justice, led the Saudi delegation to the meeting. The Arab Justice Ministers underscored the importance of enhancing Arab and international cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and continuing the efforts to support the Arab action at the United Nations for adopting a resolution by the General Assembly to form a working group to study the proposal of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud calling for the establishment of an international center to combat terrorism.
