King opens first phase of University City at KFUPM

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz patronized here today the inaugural ceremony of projects of the first phase of development of the university city at King Fahd University for Petroleum And Minerals (KFUPM), as well as graced another ceremony for laying foundation stone for the projects of the second phase and launching a group of the university's strategic initiatives.
On arrival at the venue, the King was welcomed by Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Eastern Region, and a number of senior officials.
