51 die after drinking tainted liquor in India

At least 35 more people who consumed adulterated liquor in India's southern states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu died
overnight, bringing the death toll to 51, news reports and officials
said Monday.
Most of the victims were workers and farmers who generally buy
cheap liquor, senior police officials were quoted as saying by DPA.
