Sheikh, May 18, SPA--His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said left Sharm el-Sheikh city of Egypt today concluding a private visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt during which His Majesty discussed with President Hosni Mubarak, of Egypt the distinguished brotherly relations that tie the two countries and brotherly peoples, as well as, issues of common concern at the regional and international arenas, ONA reported. His Majesty the Sultan headed on a special visit to a number of European countries. His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said was seen off by President Hosni Mubarak, of the Arab Republic of Egypt, a number of ministers and senior Egyptian officials and the Sultanate‘s ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its permanent representative to the Arab League. Upon departure from Sharm el-Sheikh after a several-day private visit, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has sent a cable of thanks and appreciation to President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt where His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian President for the warm welcome and hospitality extended by the Egyptian president, government and people. His Majesty pointed out that the meeting with the Egyptian president provided the opportunity for consultation and exchange of views on different issues and developments at the Arab and international arenas.
