Yemeni Defense Ministry has denied that the forces had struck positions of the rebels loyal to Abdul Malik al-Houthi in the volatile northern province of Saada, Saba reported. A source at the ministry said news released on some websites that the government forces raided rebel positions, were untrue and inaccurate. The source advised the media to release true reports and avoid misleading rumors. The source also added that the government still makes efforts to persuade the rebels to implement a Qatari-brokered agreement to end the four-year rebellion.
