Saudi Ambassador to Australia Hassan Talat Nazir paid an official visit to Western Australia State in response to an official invitation from the State government. He met with a number of senior officials of the State including Governor Kenneth Comninos Michael and Premier Alan Carpenter. Francis M Logan, Minister for Energy; Resources; Industry and Enterprise held a luncheon in honor of Ambassador Nazir. In an address on the occasion, Ambassador Nazir conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, to the state government and the Premier, appraising the government efforts to revitalize investments, trade and economic exchanges between Australia and Saudi Arabia in all areas.
