Saudi ambassador to Algeria Dr Sami Al-Salih met here today Algeria's Minister of Industry and Investments Abdul-Hameed Tamar. In a statement to SPA following the meeting, Dr Al-Salih said the views of the two parties as regards cementing cooperation in the field of industry and investments were identical. He noted that he had briefed the Algerian official on the great attention given by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the sector of industry ad investments, and on its view that this matter constitutes an element for economic integration not only between the two countries but also among all Arab countries. The ambassador said the Kingdom has been giving utmost attention to its investments in Algeria notably after the success attained by several firms and companies including SABIC. Dr Al-Salih said the meeting was held in an atmosphere of frankness and reciprocal understanding. The Saudi-Algerian relations are characterized by confidence and mutual respect, he added.
