Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates and South Korean President Lee Myung-bak held talks Tuesday, discussing information technology for vehicles and games and the future of the Internet. Gates and Lee met at the presidential Blue House during a short trip to South Korea by the philanthropist and co-founder of the Redmond, Washington-based software giant. «We're approaching the second decade of (the) digital age,» Gates told Lee at the start of their meeting, according to a media pool report. «The Internet has been operating now for 10 years, » he said. «The second 10 years will be very different.» Gates was making a brief trip to the country to meet Lee and deliver a speech sponsored by a South Korean television network, the Associated Press reported.
