Police say unknown assailants attacked a police station in Nigeria's restive southern oil region. Five officers are dead. Rivers State police spokeswoman Ireju Barasua says the gunmen who stormed the station on Bonny Island early Sunday also made off with seven weapons. The cause for the attack isn't clear. Bonny Island is home to a major export terminal for crude oil, the Associated Press reported.
