The Shoura Council held here today its ordinary session presided over by its Chairman Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid. The session was attended by the Minister of Agriculture Dr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Balghunaim and Director General of General Organization of Grain Silos and Flour Mills. Dr. bin Homaid welcomed the minister and thanked him for attendance to clarify the state's policy on agriculatural matters topped by the cultivation of wheat and the privatization of the Organization. He noted that the Council discussed agricultural affairs in the Kingdom, a number of reports of the ministry and bilateral agreements in this area between the Government of the Kingdom and a number of sisterly and friendly countries. The Council's Assistant Secretary General Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya said that the Minister of Agriculture responded to questions from members of the Council. The Council approved a draft memorandum of understanding in the field of vocational training between the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training in the Kingdom and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Italian Republic and a draft memorandum of understanding in the field of technical and vocational training between the Government of the Kingdom and the Government departments in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
