U.S. Congress Library and King Abdullah University for Sciences and Technology have recently announced the establishment of partnership between them in the field of digitally-authenticating the history of sciences of Arabs and Muslims. The project is designed to match with the international digital library scheduled to be launched by UNESCO early 2009. Ad hoc committees will be formed to kick off the project, aiming at forging a strategy to determine and choose the manuscripts and other rare items related to science of Arabs and Muslims, classifying them and introducing them to readers and enhancing conduction of scientific research on them.
