Deputy Minister of Education and Member of the Executive Council of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Dr. Saeed bin Mohammad Almolais delivered today the speech of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of the deliberations of the Organization's Executive Council currently held in Paris. In the speech, Dr. Almolais stressed the importance of cooperation in the educational and scientific fields with respect of the sacred and religious symbols. He underlined the renunciation of violence and condemnation of terrorism and welcomed any step bringing peace and stability to the world and all that serves humanity. The Saudi official highlighted the initiative by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz on dialogue among the people of the divine religions as part of the dialogue among civilizations. --more
