The Ambassador of Greece to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia called on Saudi businessmen to avail themselves of the opportunity of growing privatization process led by the Greek government and enter into more aggressive investments in his country, . Addressing a meeting between Saudi and Greek businessmen hosted by Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry here today, the ambassador briefed the Saudi private sector representatives on the investment opportunities available in his country, citing tourism, health, shipping, finance, communications and other economic and productive fields. On his part, the leader of the Saudi delegation to the meeting Salih Al-Ti'aimi called on the Saudi businessmen to have a role in the Greek privatization program. Trade exchange size between the two countries amounted to SR9095 million in 2006, with SR8758 million going to the Saudi exports to Greece and SR337 million to Saudi imports from European Mediterranean country.
