Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Salih received here last night the delegation of the Saudi businessmen and investors, which is currently visiting Yemen. Speaking on the occasion Salih expressed appreciation for the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz to the Saudi businessmen and investors to invest in Yemen in a manner that enhances partnership between the Kingdom and Yemen. Salih reiterated the stability and security of Yemen and said most of Yemen's provinces enjoy security and stability and they have promising opportunities for investment. Speaking on behalf of the Saudi businessmen and investors Eng. Abdullah Bukshan said King Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz, who believes in the importance of partnership between the Kingdom and Yemen, has issued his directives to send a high-ranking delegation comprising businessmen and investors to Yemen. We have come here to contribute to economic and human development in the country, he said calling for opening the door wide for investors. He underscored the importance of removing administrative obstacles that might face investors. The meeting was attended by Yemeni Premier Dr Ali Majour and a number of other senior officials and businessmen. It is worth mentioning the Saudi delegation arrived in Sanaa on Saturday to explore available investment opportunities in Yemen.
