Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping on Thursday expressed confidence that current and first visit of a UAE Prime Minister to China adds fresh momentum to cooperation and the historical relations the two countries maintain, according to WAM. Jinping made his remarks at a meeting on Thursday in Beijing with visiting Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Sheikh Mohammed said his current China visit further promotes UAE-China economic, trade, technological, tourism and cultural cooperation and relations. The meeting took place at The Great Hall of the People in the Chinese capital. Present at the meeting were Dubai deputy ruler, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, foreign minister, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, chairman of Dubai airports authority and president of the Emirates Group, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, minister for cabinet affairs, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, minister of state, Reem Ibrahim Al Hashimi and other members of the delegation accompanying the UAE vice president during his China visit.
