Herzegovina, April 02, SPA -- European Union forces supported by NATO on Wednesday searched the home of a supporter of Radovan Karadzic, Bosnia's most-wanted war crimes suspect, looking for clues to his whereabouts, officials said. Troops searched the house of Dragan Draskovic «who is suspected of being connected to Karadzic, » in Krupac, 10 kilometers (6 miles) southeast of Sarajevo, Lt. Col. Ian Bratt, a spokesman for the European Union Force, said. The aim was to find material or information that could help in the search for war-crimes suspects, and to put pressure on networks that support him in hiding, Bratt was quoted as saying by the Associated Press. This was the third raid in a week. Last Thursday peacekeepers searched the homes of Karadzic's wife and daughter and of a neighbor. On Tuesday, Bosnian Serb police raided the house of two of Karadzic's wartime bodyguards. Bosnian police were notified of Wednesday's raid, and NATO troops provided support, Bratt said.
