The Arab Organization of Red Crescent and Cross has granted the Medallion of Abu Bakr Alsiddeeq to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in appreciation of his humanitarian efforts, the Saudi role in relief work at the international level and the Saudi support for general secretariat of the organization in Riyadh. On this occasion, Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of the Red Crescent Society, extended his congratulations to the king on winning the medallion. Prince Faisal said granting the international honor medallion to the king is an honor for it and for all those belonging to the humanitarian work. The decision to Award the prize to the king was taken unanimously by members of the organization in a meeting recently held in Tunis.
