Prince Turki bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Assistant Minister of Culture and Information, inaugurated Saturday evening activities of Yemeni Cultural Week in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which are organized at King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh. The opening ceremony of the Week's festivities was also attended by the visiting Yemeni Minister of Culture Dr Mohammed Abu Bakr al-Muflihi. On this occasion, Dr Abu Bakr Bakadir, the Under Secretary of the Culture and Information Ministry for international cultural relations read out before the gathering a statement of the Kingdom's Minister of Culture and Information Iyad Ameen Madani. In his statement, Iyad Madani said the organization of the Yemeni Cultural Week stands as a symbol for the existing fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and Yemen. He also noted that the Saudi Ministry of Culture and Information is planning to organize a Cultural Week of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Yemen during this year. On his part, Dr al-Muflihi said the organization of the Yemeni cultural days in the Kingdom embodies the keenness of the Saudi and Yemeni leaderships on further cementing bilateral relations.
