Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Jazan region, patronized here last night a seminar on Jazan economic city. The seminar was organized by the governorate of Jazan region in cooperation with the Saudi Arabia General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and the chamber of commerce and industry of Jazan. Speaking on the occasion, chairman of the chamber of commerce and industry Eng. Fahd bin Abdullah, highlighted the great attention given by the Saudi officials to Jazan region. On his part, Prince Mohammed bin Nasser stressed the significance of the seminar, and said it would shed light on the available investment opportunities in Jazan region. Reiterating the keenness of the officials on extending all possible facilities to the investors, Prince Mohammed expressed confidence on the success of the investment projects at Jazan economic city. He said the city has attracted investors form inside and outside the Kingdom. Praising the attention given by the Saudi officials to Jazan region, he said in the last years development and service projects at the cost of about sr 12 billion were implemented in the region. He underscored the importance of establishing a contracting company for the acceleration of the development process. The function was attended by Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Nasser, and a number of senior officials.
