Saeed announced the names of the winners in five branches. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques International Prize for Translation was won by King Fahd Complex for printing the Holy Quran. The Prize of Translation in Natural Sciences from other languages into Arabic was co-shared by Dr. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Muhaidib, (Saudi), professor of civil engineering at King Saud University and Dr. Ahmed Fuad Ali Basha (Egyptian), Professor of Physics at Cairo University.
