Minister of Public Works and Roads Omer al-Kurshami has met a World Bank (WB) delegation headed by chief of WB mission in Middle East and North Africa for sustainable development John Charles Krochey, SABA reported. During the meeting, al-Kurshami and the WB delegation discussed the current arrangements for preparing a general strategy of transportation in Yemen. They also reviewed the draft strategy, including road networks in the country. The two sides discussed the aspects of joint cooperation between Yemen and WB on public works and roads and the bank's role in supporting development in the country. The delegation showed WB's readiness to provide technical assistances to train and qualify the ministry's cadres.
