Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Ali bin Saeed bin Awad Assiri has obtained a master degree in the international relations from Preston University in Pakistan. The thesis was on terrorism and the stand of Saudi Arabia vis-à-vis this dangerous phenomenon. Assiri shed light on the international dimensions of this phenomenon and the efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia for fighting it internally and externally. The thesis noted that Saudi Arabia have taken positive steps and appropriate measures for confronting the menace of extremism.
