The foreign ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and Yemen held their 3rd joint meeting here today. Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister headed the delegation of the Kingdom to the meeting. Addressing the meeting, Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr Abdullah Al-Qurabi expressed his gratitude for the invitation to this joint meeting held two years after the first meeting, commending the efforts exerted by the GCC foreign Ministers during that period to strengthen and develop relations between the two sides at bilateral level and at the level of the Council. In his speech, the GCC Secretary General Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah noted that the meeting comes within the framework of joint and continuing efforts to deepen and strengthen fraternal relations between the GCC and Yemen due to Yemen's status and significant importance from the perspectives of the GCC as well as well as the unity of destiny and history. --More
