Police examines several leads after a cafe blast in the city's east, a source in the city's law enforcement agencies has told Itar-Tass. The source said, "According to the original lead, it was a 50-litre gas cylinder that exploded at about 23:00, Moscow time on Sunday in a cafe located on Bolshaya Cherkizovskaya Ulitsa (large Cherkizovo street) opposite the Lokomotiv (locomotive) Stadium. "However, explosives experts that arrived at the scene have established that the blast had occurred outside the building. Therefore it is not ruled out that an explosive device went off or a grenade was exploded. "The scene of the incident is currently cordoned off. The explosives experts are seeking to find out the cause of the blast. The institution of criminal proceedings (in connection with the blast) is under consideration," the source emphasized. An officer in the Moscow city police department has told Itar-Tass that no one was hurt as a result of the blast. However, according to some data, five people were slightly injured. Besides, a blast wave damaged the cafe building and three cars that were parked near it.
