The US' shuttle Atlantis successfully undocked from the International Space Station on Monday and flew to the Earth, Itar-Tass reported. “The spaceship undocked from the space station precisely on schedule, at 12.25 Moscow time,” a spokesman at the Russian Mission Control Centre outside Moscow told Itar-Tass. Atlantis made a traditional farewell flyover of the space station before beginning its two-day flight to the Earth. The shuttle will land at Cape Canaveral space centre, Florida, on Wednesday.
