The crew of four astronauts who are to fly NASA's farewell mission for the shuttle programme arrived in Florida Monday, making up one of the smallest crews to ever launch a shuttle, according to dpa. Commander Chris Ferguson, pilot Doug Hurley and mission specialists Sandy Magnus and Rex Walheim flew on US Independence Day to the Kennedy Space Center's shuttle landing facility in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Before the launch of Atlantis shuttle on Friday, the crew will spend the coming days training and spending time with family before liftoff. "I think I speak for the whole crew in that we are delighted to be here after a very arduous nine month training flow and we're thrilled to finally be here in Florida for launch week," said Ferguson. Atlantis is to take off Friday at 1526 GMT.
