Forum of Ports and Maritime Transport to be held

Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah Region will patronize the inauguration ceremony of the First Forum of Saudi International Ports and Maritime Transportation in Jeddah on March 24-26.
In a statement following the meeting of the Forum's Steering Committee in Jeddah today, the President of Saudi Ports Authority Dr. Khalid bin Ahmed Bobshit expressed his pleasure over the Prince's inauguration of the Forum aiming at launching an annual specialized platform to discuss the issues of ports and maritime transportation in the Kingdom, to highlight the challenges faced by maritime sector in all its aspects, to propose practical solutions to them, and to identify areas of investment in Saudi ports and their future opportunities.
He noted that more than 500 experts and specialists in ports and maritime transportation from the Kingdom and abroad will attend the Forum.
