The Arab Gulf Program for United Nations Development Organizations (AGFUND) announced on Sunday the joining of Yemen to the Arab strategy for early childhood development sponsored by the program and adopted in 11 Arab countries, according to Saba. Yemen would be the 12th country to implement the project of early childhood development, AGFUND reported on its website noting that Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, the AGFUND President has signed the Yemeni project agreement with UNESCO to be executed by the ministry of education in Yemen.
