Indian Petroleum Minister Murli Deora is likely to visit Islamabad in the first week of February for talks with Pakistan to resolve issues pertaining to $7 billion Iran-Pakistan-India (IPI) Gas Pipeline project, particularly the issue of transit fee, officials said. Pakistan s (former) Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Amanullah Khan Jadoon had invited Deora to visit Pakistan during their meeting in London. Pakistan is ready for talks sometime in the first week of February to resolve transit fee issue. Iran has proposed February 12 or 13 as dates for talks with Pakistan and India in Tehran to finalize the IPI deal.
